English Harbor Progressive Black Jack
About The Game:
In Progressive Blackjack, the player
competes against the dealer. Our version of Progressive Blackjack
is played using European Blackjack rules and four 52-card decks
that are shuffled after each hand. At this Casino there are 5
playing positions you can choose from, and you can play up to 5
hands of Progressive Blackjack at the same time. Each hand played
counts as a separate wager against the dealer.
In Progressive Blackjack, a player may
place an extra $1 bet on each hand, and wins a specific jackpot
portion if the first 2 or more cards dealt are aces. When a hand
splits, the Progressive jackpot still applies to the first 2 cards
dealt (Not to each split hand separately).
Like traditional Blackjack, the objective is for the
player’s hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the
dealer’s hand (without going over). The dealer must hit on all
hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or
more.
How To Play:
To begin, you must decide how much you want to wager and
how many hands you want to play and then place your wager(s) on
the table. Once you have completed placing your wager(s) you can
choose to make a progressive $1 bet on any hand played.
When all wagers have been placed, you can start the game by
clicking on the DEAL button.
The dealer deals two cards to each player
position that has a wager, and deals two cards to the dealer. One
of the dealer’s cards remains face down and all other cards are
turned face up. As soon as the last card is turned face up you are
able to use the HIT and STAND buttons. You may choose to HIT or
STAND based on the value of your hand. When the dealer’s hand
has been played, you are paid out according to results of your
hand as measured against the dealer’s hand.
To play again, click on the REBET button and then click on
the DEAL button.
How To Bet:
The Casino supports two ways to place bets:
a)
The drag and drop method
Left button click on a coin button AND
continue to hold the left button down while dragging the chip to
the field where you want to place your bet. Let go of the left
mouse button to place the bet. To increase your bet, simply repeat
this step. To decrease it, click on the coin button and drag it
back to its original place.
b)
The mouse click method
Left button click on a coin button located
along the table's edge, then left click in the field where you
want to place your bet. Increase your bet by a clicking the left
mouse button on the chip already in the chosen betting field.
Decrease your bet by clicking the right mouse button on the same
chip. Bets increase or decrease by one chip at a time.
The CLEAR button removes all bets that can
be removed from the table
The REBET button resets the game and
replaces the last bet(s) made on the table
Splitting Hands:
If you are dealt a pair you may SPLIT your hand. This means
that your pair is divided into two separate hands with two
separate wagers (the second wager is equal to the first). If you
split Aces you will receive only 1 more card to complete your
hand, and if the second card is a face card or 10 the hand is NOT
considered a Blackjack. This rule also applies when you split a
pair of tens. You cannot split a hand that has already been split.
Doubling:
If the value of your initial two cards is 9, 10 or 11, you
are allowed to DOUBLE. In this case, you are betting that the next
card you are dealt will beat the dealer’s completed hand. The
wager costs as much as your original bet, but should you win you
will be paid double your total wager.

For each hand played, there is a $2.00
minimum bet on each hand, a $200.00 limit on each hand.
