Multi-Hand
Blackjack
The Game
Multi-Hand Blackjack is a game where the player, controlling up to
three hands at a time, competes against the dealer. This game
follows the standard rules of the Nevada Gaming Commission. Your
goal is to draw cards ("Hit") until your hand adds up
to, or is close to 21, without exceeding 21. You may draw up to a
total of 7 cards and must then stand. If your first two cards
total 21, you have Blackjack.
How to Play
You may wager in any or all of the three betting
locations on the table. A hand will be dealt to each betting spot
containing a wager. When the total value of the cards in a hand is
closer to (but not exceeding) 21 than the dealer's, you win an
amount equal to your bet. If you have Blackjack, you win 3-to-2
times your bet (assuming the dealer does not also have Blackjack).
All cards have the value that they display, all face cards have a
value of 10, and Aces have a value of either 1 or 11. If the total
of your cards exceeds 21, you "bust" and lose your bet.
If you have the same total as the dealer, no one wins and your
stake is returned ("push"). A Blackjack beats a score of
21.
To exit the game you must play out the hands you have been dealt or
forfeit your bets, then click the EXIT button (located at the
lower-right of the screen). You will then exit the game and return
to the main menu.
Splitting
When the first two cards of a hand are of equal value,
you may split them into two separate hands. To create the second
hand, click the Split button. A bet of equal value will be placed
on the second hand. You then draw cards as usual. When you split
two Aces, you get only one additional card for each hand.
When you split two Aces and one of your hands totals 21, it is not
considered Blackjack, but "21". You may not split an
already split hand.
Doubling Down
When you have been dealt two cards that total 9, 10, or 11,
you will be given the option to double down. By clicking Double
Down your bet is doubled and you receive only one
additional card. You may double down after splitting your hand.
Insurance
Insurance is made available only when the dealers up
card is an Ace. The insurance is against the dealer having a
Blackjack. The cost of insurance is half your initial bet. If the
dealer has a Blackjack, the insurance pays 2-to-1 of your initial
bet. If you bought insurance, and the dealer does not have
Blackjack, you lose your insurance. The bet is then settled by
comparing your cards with the dealer's. Should you and the dealer
both have Blackjack, the game results in a push. Insurance must be
wagered on a per hand basis.
Dealer Rules
The dealer must draw until a minimum total of 17 is obtained, and
must stand at 17 or higher (not including Soft 17's).
Betting
To place a bet, left-click the desired chip then click
with the left mouse button in the desired betting area. The
selected chip will appear in the betting box on the Blackjack
table. You can reclaim a wagered chip before the game begins by
right-clicking on the chip. After placing a bet, you can add or
subtract from it by left or right-clicking in the betting box on
the Blackjack table. If you initially click in the betting area
instead of clicking on a chip, you will bet an amount equal to
your last bet or $5 in the initial game.
Betting Limits Per Hand
The minimum wager for each hand in Multi-Hand Blackjack
is $5, and the maximum wager per seat is $500.
Progressive
Jackpot
By left-clicking on the chip-slot mechanism (black with
red lights) above the betting area you place a $1 wager that makes
you eligible for progressive jackpot payouts (listed below). You
may right-click on the coin-slot to remove the progressive bet
before the deal. If you have wagered on the progressive and are
dealt one of the listed card combinations then you win the
prescribed amount if you do not bust, whether you beat the
dealer's hand or not. The progressive payout is based on cards
dealt consecutively from the first card dealt to a table
seat regardless of splitting. A portion of all progressive wagers
are fed into the progressive jackpot amount and raise the value of
payouts that are a percentage of the total displayed at the top of
the screen.
4 black or 4 red aces

3 suited aces
$2500
3 unsuited aces
$250
2 suited aces
$100
2 unsuited aces
$25
Only the highest of these combinations is paid out per table seat. For
example: if a single seat receives two aces of spades you may
choose to split. When you do so, should you then be dealt an ace
of clubs and a king on the first split hand followed by three
black aces on the second split hand, you would be paid the $250
bonus for three unsuited aces. You would not additionally receive
the $100 bonus for the two aces of spades that make up the start
of the three unsuited aces. Neither would you be paid a jackpot
for the four black aces that make up the second split hand because
the king interrupted the consecutive sequence from the start of
the deal.
